What is the designated course of studies to become a certified nurse or a BSN, what is the academics retraining program to become a certified nurse and how to register?

Generic program for certified nurse and for BSN

The program acquires its alumni a bachelor of science in nursing from the Hebrew University after 4 years of studying in the school. A certified nurse degree will be given to the alumni after successfully passing the registration test of the Ministry of Health in the State of Israel.
The studies are held in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and in the nursing school by the Kaplan Medical Center

Academic retraining program for certified nurses

The academic retraining program for certified nurses is designated for bachelor degree holders of all fields, who are interested to study nursing. The studies last for about two and a half years.

Admission Terms:

  • Having an academic degree from a high education facility, familiar to the high education council in Israel or alternatively, recognized as equal by the Ministry of Education.
  • CV and personal details questionnaire
  • Test and personal interview
  • Hebrew test – for new immigrants who are in Israel for less than 10 years
