ד"ר אורון הינה בעלת דרגת פרופ' חבר קליני ועוסקת בפעילות מחקרית ואקדמית ענפה. היא פרסמה מעל ארבעים מאמרים בעיתונים מקצועיים בינלאומיים מובילים בתחומה ומרבה להרצות בכנסים בינלאומיים. כמו כן היא עורכת משנה של אחד מכתבי העת היוקרתיים ביותר בתחום הפוריות ה Human Reproduction ובנוסף עוסקת באופן שוטף בהוראת מתמחים וסטודנטים במחלקתה ובאוניברסיטה.
