Stav Bachar, a soldier in the Combat Intelligence Collection Force, faced off against terrorists in the Home Command Base near Urim on Saturday, October 7th. She was severely injured during the attack, and was discharged from the hospital just yesterday.

She was evacuated and taken to Soroka after suffering gunshot wounds to her abdomen, back and pelvis. She was taken to the OR and treated by a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, orthopedists, anesthesiologists and nurses. Her condition improved dramatically, and thankfully, she was released from the hospital yesterday.
Stav formed a close connection with the medical teams in Surgical Ward B during her three-week stay. Stav's courage in fighting for lives had deeply touched them all, and there were tears of both joy and concern as they bid farewell.
