Master Sergeant Nir Katz, a combat engineer, was airlifted to Soroka hospital 11 days ago with serious injuries to his stomach and hand. He received treatment in the general surgery department, undergoing two surgeries. Finally, after a period of recovery, the long awaited weekend arrived, he was discharged and able to return home.
