Chief Inspector Daniel Damri, Deputy Commander of the 'Yasam Negev' (Special Patrol Unit in the police), sustained injuries during the terrorist attack last Saturday while en route to Reim with his team.
Two of his friends were killed, and the rest of the team suffered injuries. Damri himself was forced to wait over two hours for evacuation.
Once evacuated, he was immediately taken to the trauma center at Soroka hospital, where he underwent surgery. Subsequently, he was admitted to the orthopedic ward before commencing rehabilitation.
Today, Damri marked a joyous occasion, celebrating his daughter Agam's first birthday surrounded by his entire family.
