During a Visit
You will first take a number to be called to the front desk, there you will be registered and referred to a nurse for visual acuity test. Afterward, you will be directed to the doctor's office. You will have to wait patiently until your number will be called by the doctor.
Occasionally, the doctor will need to instill dilating eye drops, for their effect to be optimal you'll normally have to wait between 20-40min.
In any case of procedure (i.e. laser, ocular injections) you will be asked to sign a consent form after a brief explanation on the procedure, its effect and risks.
Please note! The order may change according to urgency or to any medical consideration.
Following a visit
In case of a dilated eye exam, you should avoid driving for 3-4 hours, otherwise, in a case of non-dilated eye exam, there's no limitation.
Dilated eye may cause blurry vision, difficulty reading and glare. These are all normal symptoms, that should past, in most cases, after a few hours. Wearing sunglasses may help.
