With the establishment of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU) adjacent to Soroka, the Medical Center undertook extensive teaching activity and research activities expanded significantly.
Today, the Medical Center staff participates in teaching all the Faculty's curricula, and Soroka provides fertile clinical ground for the Faculty of Health Sciences at BGU.
