Rabin Medical Center has nine departments of internal medicine, six at Beilinson Hospital and three at Hasharon Hospital which treat a wide range of patients, many who have been admitted via the Emergency Room for urgent care. The departments deal with the diagnosis, assessment and treatment of a wide range of adult diseases, with each department further focusing on specific expertise, using their professional skills to provide expert care according to the field of specialization. Furthermore, there are physicians who are expert in the management of patients who have undifferentiated or multi-system disease processes.
